RTX 5090 vs RTX A6000: specs, price and which to rent
GPU Rent Hub rents both cards as dedicated bare metal in three United States datacenters, paid in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Monero, Solana or Litecoin with no identity verification. The RTX 5090 is 540 $US a month and the RTX A6000 is 290 $US a month. Everything below is measured, not argued.
What is the difference between the RTX 5090 and the RTX A6000?
Every figure is the one we rent against, taken from the same catalogue the dashboard prices from. Per-GPU-hour is the flat monthly price divided by 720 hours; you are never billed by the hour.

Which should you rent?
The cheaper RTX A6000 carries 16 GB more memory, so on capacity alone it is the better card. The RTX 5090 supports FP8 and the RTX A6000 does not, which roughly halves the memory a quantised model needs and is the largest practical difference between the two. Bandwidth is 1.79 TB/s against 768 GB/s, and for single-stream token generation it is bandwidth that sets the speed, not the FLOPS figure on the spec sheet. The RTX 5090 costs 86% more per month, $540 against $290, or $0.75 against $0.40 per GPU-hour.
Rent the RTX 5090 when
Fast single-card inference on 7B–32B models. 32 GB of GDDR7 at 1.79 TB/s, faster memory than an A100 for a fifth of the price.
540 $US/mo · 155 $US/wk · specifications and stock
Rent the RTX A6000 when
48 GB of VRAM under $300 a month. The cheapest 48 GB card we rent, and it takes an NVLink bridge in pairs.

Where each card is in stock
A dash means the card is on the waitlist in that region. The price is identical in all three, so choose on latency and stock, nothing else.
